Rainy Lake Medical Center Unveils New Logo
Design reflects spirit of the integrated healthcare organization.
International Falls, MN (March 24, 2009) — Rainy Lake Medical Center, a community healthcare organization formed by the integration of the Duluth Clinic-International Falls and Falls Memorial Hospital, recently unveiled its logo, marking a new direction for healthcare delivery in International Falls and the surrounding area.
“The logo signifies the coming together of the clinic and hospital,” says Bob Anderson, RLMC Governing Board Chairman. “The sun signifies a source of health and energy, while the mature white pine depicts strength, as well as the pride we have in our area’s unique natural landscape.”
In October, 2008, Falls Memorial Hospital and the Duluth Clinic-International Falls received approval from both their governing boards to integrate in 2009.
“The partnership allows us to recruit more doctors, purchase better equipment and improve facilities, all of which will shorten the amount of time patients wait to get an appointment and create the opportunity for us to offer additional services to more patients, ”says Mike Motley, RLMC board member.
