Volunteer The volunteers at Rainy Lake Medical Center care enough to make a difference. This caring team is made up of seasonal and permanent residents of our community that give their time to help make our hospital run more smoothly. They assist in several areas throughout the hospital by operating a gift shop, assembling paperwork, delivering flowers and newspapers, and providing patient assistance. Volunteers have the opportunity to match their skills and interests with meaningful assignments. Membership The Rainy Lake Medical Center Auxiliary is made up by membership. Anyone can be a member by donating a fee of $5.00. You receive a dated membership card. You can renew your membership annualy by contacting an RLMC Auxilian, or contacting a member at the gift shop at 218-283-5403, or by attending the RLMC Auxiliary Bake Sale and Membership drive. Proceeds from RLMC Auxiliary fundraising events and membership fees go towards scholarships awarded to young graduates heading for a medical career, and to Rainy Lake Medical Center to buy equipment to provide better patient care.
