Rainy Lake Medical Center’s Foundation is a group of individuals who are passionate about improving healthcare in our community. Their goal is to cultivate relationships and philanthropic support to enable the creation of new facilities, upgrade of current facilities, and acquisition of new equipment and medical technology.

Employee Giving plays a large role in the success of the Foundation. PRISMS (People Reflecting Inspiration Spirit Motivating Success) is the employee giving club of the Rainy Lake Medical Center Foundation. The goal of PRISMS is to connect employees with opportunities to support the Foundation in promoting healthcare and wellness in our community. Many RLMC employees are members of PRISMS by contributing a portion of each paycheck or through annual donations. This generous group of employees has donated funds in order to purchase new equipment for Rainy Lake Medical Center. Wall-hugging recliners were recently purchased to give patients, as well as their family and friends comfortable seating in our hospital rooms. Other major donations from PRISMS include multiple defibrillators, knee therapy machine, special chair for knee replacement patients, and a mixing hood for the Pharmacy.

The Rainy Lake Medical Center Foundation strives to help improve services, create a culture of giving, and meet the needs of healthcare delivery to the people who live, work, and play in our community.
