International Falls: The Board of Trustees of Rainy Lake Medical Center are pleased to announce the appointment of Robert “Robb” Pastor as new CEO, beginning September 1, 2018. Pastor will succeed the current CEO, Bonnie Erickson who will retire at the end of August. Erickson began her devoted health care career with Falls Memorial Hospital (now RLMC) in 1975.
Pastor joins RLMC from Southwest Health in Platteville, Wisconsin where he serves as Chief Clinical Officer and is responsible for the direction and management of all patient care service areas including Radiology, Laboratory, Rehabilitation Services, EMS, Pharmacy, Risk Management, Performance Improvement/Quality Care Management, Diabetes Education and all organization Nursing Service Departments: Surgery, SDS, ED, OB, Med/Surg., Behavioral Health Services, and Outpatient/Infusion.
Prior to his role at Southwest Health, Robb served as Director of Hospital Nursing Services at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby, MN. He has also held multiple leadership positions with hospitals and medical centers in Mississippi, Texas and Michigan.
Robb was born and raised in Detroit, MI and earned his nursing degree at Henry Ford Community College. Robb continued his education by earning his Business Administration degree from Cleary University and his MBA from University of Texas. In addition, Robb has also earned his Fellow Certification with American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). He is very active in his community and currently serves on the Wisconsin Chapter of ACHE, Platteville Regional Chamber, Organization of Nurse Executives, Rotary Club and his church parish.
Robb and his wife, Andrea, have a 3-year old son and infant daughter. With family ties in Minnesota, the opportunity to make an impact in the community in which they are raising their children is an important “key” to both Robb and his wife. They are looking forward to joining RLMC and our community.
