Dr. Kristina Britton, a board-certified dermatologist, will begin seeing patients at
Rainy Lake Clinic at the beginning of January.
Dr. Britton, a native of the Brainerd Lakes Area, offers medical and surgical
dermatology services, including skin cancer screening, mole checks and treatment for
acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss, warts and nail diseases. She performs in
office excisions, mole removals as well as skin and nail biopsies.
Dr. Britton will take over services previously offered by Dr. Hilary Reich. Rainy Lake
Clinic officials wish Dr. Reich the best as she furthers her career.
Dr. Britton received her Bachelor’s degree from St. Cloud State University in 2004.
She completed medical school and obtained her Doctoral degree from the University
of Minnesota School of Medicine in 2009. She completed a one-year transitional
program at Hennepin County Medical Center in 2010 and a three-year dermatology
residency at the Marshfield Clinic/St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, Wis., in 2013.
She has been practicing in the central Minnesota area for more than seven years.
Dr. Britton is passionate about diagnosing and treating all aspects of dermatology,
including hair, skin and nails. She strives to educate her patients about their skin
condition, which enables patients to be active partners in their own health care.
Dr. Britton lives in the country with her husband and three Great Danes. She enjoys
spending time outdoors, including gardening, fishing and hiking. She has two grown
sons, one that lives in the Lakes Area and one who is currently serving in the military.
